FAQ
  1. If I enter a project in a kitchen category, does the same project need to be entered in Best Before & After Kitchen to receive the discount? 

    • Yes. In order to receive the discount the same project must be entered in the corresponding Best Before & After category to receive the discount. The Same rules applies to the IDS Design Detail Category.

  2. If I am a member of NKBA, can I still enter one of the IDS categories and receive member pricing? 

    • Yes. Members of NKBA & IDS both receive the same member pricing regardless of the category your project is entered. 

  3. For IDS Categories, are floor plans required? 

    • Yes. Floor plans are required for all categories. 

  4. When do I receive my discount code for the Peak Awards Gala? 

    • Peak Awards Gala discount codes for entrants are emailed once the competition is closed. 

  5. Do I need all my documents ready when I register a project for the competition?

    • No. You can register & purchase your entries as soon as the competition is open. You then have until the competition closes to add your required documents & photos. 

  6. If I register a project during Early Bird Registration, then discover I need to change my entry project and category, can I still make the change after I have already purchased my entries? 

    • Yes. There are “Contacts for Help”  listed for help on the main page. Just email either contact and we can change your category for you. 

  7. If I register a project but am unable to complete the entry prior to the deadline, do I still receive a Gala ticket? 

    • No, You must have a completed entry to receive a Gala Ticket. 

  8. Can I order extra awards if I win? 

    • Yes. On the entry form you must let us know how many duplicates you would like and a quote will be sent to you after the Gala. There is a maximum of (5), and each duplicate award will be billed at $25/ea.

  9. If I order extra awards, may I change the name on the award?

    • No, all additional awards will be duplicates of the original.

  10. If I submit multiple projects, do I receive more than one discount code for the Gala?

    • Yes, If you enter four (4)  projects or more in a standard pricing category you will receive 1 additional ticket for every 4 projects submitted. Ex: Enter 2 Medium Kitchen , 1 Primary Bath , 1 Specialty Room Utility = 2 tickets (1 ticket for basic entry + 1 ticket for 4th standard priced entry.  This Promo excludes  discounted Best Before & After Kitchen or Bath and Design Detail entries.

  11. If I enter a project in the Peak Awards how many tickets to the Awards Gala do I receive? 

    •  One discount code per applicant. Co-Designers who have registered and paid the co-designer registration fee will also receive a promo code per applicant.
